When I read the small note of his death it hit me like a stroke. I never knew him in person, I even don't know his real name, but I still miss him. According to a note in the blog of Belami found George Duroy he committed suicide on 28. April 2011. I still hope that this information is not true.
I don't care what he's done for a living. What troubles me is the fate of that person behind the porn actor and dancer with his problems that made him do this final step. I still can't believe it and I am so sad.
This unrealistic idea keeps bothering me that if we had met before I'd the chance to prevent him from throwing away his live. I really wish I had this chance. Suicide at 21 - I don't understand it.
I've setup this blog dedicated to Evan to inform the people of the live of this young man, his fate and his dramatic end. And it helps me to grief. The only thing I can do for him now.

A young man so full of life

need not have perished from this earth
but lived long without torment or strife
We suffer in silence, our chosen fates
without those to love, emptiness rules
This young soul, remains in out hearts
alone in a vacuum without chosen mates.
Evan was ne'er an Adonis to be
but someone to love and to cherish
no longer alone may his spirit soar high
among many others who were also set free.
over land, over seas and foam
fly up to the heavens and safety
There find our Savior with arms open wide
Smiling, as he tells you "Welcome home"..
I am so sorry to hear of Evan's passing. My own brother ended his life back in 1974 and his passing still affects me to this day, so I know how Even's friends and family feel. Have strength, in time we will know the answers, just not now! - V
ReplyDeleteSuicide- It could happen to the best of us. I read that Evan / Miguel hung around in clubs a lot. The taking of drugs is inevitable in such a setting and can easily lead to suicide. This happens through a very complex load of factors rather than any concept of human weakess. On the contary, it is often they who think too much that succumb.
